Since the year 2000 our family has been pioneering ministries of evangelism, discipleship, and church planting in this unreached people group. The ministry strategy is a simple one: to follow examples found in the New Testament of discipleship, preparing qualified Quechua men and women while serving them as church planters with supporting ministries. Grinding poverty, spiritual confusion and moral darkness challenge our team of workers as we take the gospel to needy people living in remote villages.
Through patient effort over years we have seen several effective key ministries established which are currently meeting the needs of families, new churches, and isolated believers.
Here are some opportunities to make an eternal difference with the Quechua people:
As the Lord provides, the funding for ministry work and expenses comes to us through this account. The Cotahuasi Ministry Center Project enables the overall ministry to function and includes literature and Bible distribution, Radio installation and maintenance, programming office, studio, and transmission site costs, Vehicle purchases, maintenance and fuel, medical ministry, construction, training of Quechua church planters in theology and pastoral care/biblical counseling, and Bible seminars. These funds also enable the management, repair, and improvements of the ministry center where the radio studio, hospitality and lodging ministry, Bible teaching, training and coordination meetings, workshops, and corral are all located.
Importantly, these funds enable the daily gospel radio ministry to continue and develop so that remotely located families can hear the true gospel and believe for salvation.
We are praying for provision and improvements which could better enable the work to reach out with the gospel. For updates of needs, contact us by email. We send out prayer letters regularly which list needs.

These funds support the Shaw family as they live and serve in developing the ministry to the La Union Quechua people of the Cotahuasi Canyon. This basic support for the Shaw family maintains them as missionaries on the field or when they are on "home assignment" in the USA and provides for their needs. It also helps with some of their ministry expenses and enables them to give to Quechua people around them as they see needs.
